We love looking after and walking our dogs, regularly meeting up with dog walking groups for Border Terriers and Collies and exploring new walking areas. I have a passion for photography and take a lot of dog pictures, for my own pleasure and for friends.
I enjoy cooking and trying out new recipes - sometimes this is a challenge when cooking for my husband who has a list of dislikes as long as your arm. Of course I like baking cakes but like eating them more! I also cook for my dogs and they appreciate wholesome home cooked biscuits too.
I have family in Canada, Australia and a new grandson in Sweden, so lots of good reasons for foreign travel and good holidays.
I started in insurance aged 18 for General Accident in Salisbury, working in the Motor Department for five years. Having since worked in various insurance broking positions I’ve found that I dislike the aggressive sales and targets aspect of many roles and prefer to take time and give proper thought to customers’ needs and requirements.
By chance one day I saw an advert on the doorway of The Thomas Gray Partnership for an experienced insurance person and thought it sounded just perfect for me - and fortunately David and Paul agreed. So after 10 years here at Thomas Gray I am happy to confirm I love this job and appreciate working for ethical and honest employers where the customers are put first. My area of expertise tends to be with Motor and Household and smaller commercial risks.
